Stan Lee Passes Away at Age 95

Los Angeles – USA – October 31, 2015: Stan Lee American comic book writer during Comikaze Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
AFN is so sad and sorry to report that Stan Lee our greatest industry icon who revolutionized comic books, cartoons, action figures, movies and so much more has died today November 12th at age 95. Stan Lee passed away at the hospital at age 95 just before his 96th birthday today after suffering from multiple health issues throughout the year.
I was so fortunate to have been able to hear him tell his stories of the creation of Spider-Man and the struggling Amazing Fantasy comic book series. He talked Marvel into letting him feature a new character he created name Spider-Man and debuted his new character in 1962 issue #15 of Amazing Fantasy. It took off so well and so fast that they then created his own comic book The Amazing Spider-Man #1 which debuted in 1963. Of course, the rest is history with all the other heroes he continued to create or be involved with the development of such as The Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine, The Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, The Invincible Iron Man, The Almighty THOR, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Ant-Man, Black Panther, and so many more.
Stan Lee will be missed by us all. What a great man! As I said to you the day I met you Mr. Lee, “Thank You!” 🙁
